Kimberly Menzies and Usman “Sojaboy” Umar have zero chemistry on 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 5, and many viewers are upset over the way Kimberly has been pressuring Usman to be intimate with her. 90 Day Fiancé franchise viewers are already familiar with Usman, as he previously appeared on the spin-off show with his now ex-wife Lisa Hamme. Though viewers believe Usman is only dating older American women to benefit himself, they don’t think that justifies the outrageous way Kimberly behaves.
Usman and his “super fan” Kimberly are getting to know each other in person while Usman films a music video. Usman’s team has already voiced their suspicions of Kimberly, who Usman calls his “potential girlfriend.” Usman made it clear to Kimberly that he isn’t ready to commit to her and that he is very hesitant to enter into a relationship given his disastrous marriage to Lisa. However, Kimberly is pursuing Usman non-stop as she is convinced the two will be intimate before her African getaway concludes.
Kimberly raised a massive red flag for viewers when she lavished Usman with expensive gifts, including a new laptop and a PS5. Kimberly seemed to present Usman with the items in the hopes of being intimate with him, a move viewers thought was wildly inappropriate. Many pointed out the role gender played, suggesting it would have not have gone over well if Kim was male instead. Though Kimberly did not receive much backlash initially, her actions in the most recent episode solidified that she lacks boundaries and is acting in an unacceptable way.
The new episode of Before the 90 Days showed Kimberly telling Usman that he needed to sleep in her bed. Though at first Usman insisted he wouldn’t do that unless they were dating, he reluctantly agreed to join Kimberly in bed. However, Kimberly immediately made things weird by asking Usman if he wanted to have sex with her. Usman turned down her offer and set up a pillow barrier in the bed so that they could have their privacy. Kimberly was clearly unhappy with this development and tried to get Usman to remove the pillows so they could touch each other. Many viewers were shocked and uncomfortable by the situation, as Kimberly appeared to think that Usman owed her sex after she paid for the trip and the lavish presents.
Kimberly isn’t the only woman on Before the 90 Days season 5 who is being slammed for pressuring her partner to be intimate.
