1000-LB. Sisters star Amy Slaton has revealed that she is getting no help with her two sons after she left their father Michael Halterman.
Amy, 36, was featured in a new trailer for the upcoming season of 1000-Lb. Sisters.
The mother of two admitted that she’s not getting any support with her toddlers, despite being married at the time.
In the first scene, Amy is shown chasing after her eldest son Gage, three. Her one-year-old son, Glenn, did not make an appearance.
In a confessional, she said: “I am very overwhelmed and stressed out and Michael ain’t doing s**t.”
It appears the clip took place before her and Michael’s public divorce that started in March 2023 and was recently settled.
The couple was also shown getting adorable family portraits together, but the TLC star looked frustrated during the photo shoot.
Amy continued: “Every aspect of my life is chaos. I feel like I have no support.”
THE DOWNFALL
The trailer then showed Amy talking to a 1000-Lb. Sisters fan favorite, her sister Amanda.
Amy sobbed while sitting next to her older sister Amanda told her that she needed to figure out why she was so unhappy so she could improve her life.
Even later in the clip, Amy admitted: “I’m just exhausted all the time because I’m trying to take care of two boys and take care of the house.”
Amanda was also present during that scene, and she said: “You have a husband that is perfectly capable of taking care of these kids for you to have a moment.”
That’s when Amy reveals that she’s at her breaking point.
By the end of the scene, the quiet family moment turns into an all-out verbal fight between Amy, Amanda, and Michael where Amy kicks her husband out of the house.
It got so bad that Tammy Slaton, 37, another one of Amy’s sisters, had to call the police.
NOT SURPRISED
In the comment section of the trailer, which was posted on TLC’s Instagram, fans don’t seem to be surprised by Amy’s meltdown.
One said: “Michael was always just bumming around! Good job on the divorce Amy.”
Another said: “All of a sudden Michael knows how to speak when it’s about money…she deserves better.”
A third said: “Wow first time hearing Michael speak I can imagine what goes down behind closed doors smh.”
Someone said: “I feel bad for Amy. Divorce is always rough, but I feel like with her family support. She’ll be better than ever.”
The new season will premiere on December 12 at 9 pm EST on TLC.
