The Family Chantel Star Crossing Over To Love In Paradise

Season 3 of Love In Paradise is ready to roll and there will be a familiar face. The Family Chantel star Lidia Morel is the latest cast member to join the 90 Day series. Fans may remember her as Pedro Jimeno’s difficult mother. She and her family felt that once Pedro moved to America to be with Chantel Everett, he needed to send them whatever they wanted. However, Chantel wanted to ensure that she and her husband could live a comfortable life without having to support his family.

Chantel and Pedro filed for divorce last year which could mean the end of their 90 Day spinoff. However, that is not stopping Pedro’s mama, Lidia from coming in and trying her hand at her own TLC success. According to Starcasm, she will be on Season 3 of Love In Paradise. It usually airs first on discovery+ and then at some point on TLC. Daniele and Yohan, from this season of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, first started on LIP.

Per the TLC press release: “Pedro and Nicole’s mother Lidia has been set up with Scott whom she hopes to bring to the Dominican Republic to meet for the first time in person.” He is an American so this could very well lead to a The Other Way situation. Yet, this is not the first time that Lidia has openly looked for love. Her online dating profile from CaribbeanCupid.com was released by Starcasm at the beginning of The FamilyChantel.

Can Lidia Trust Scott?

A big issue that The Family Chantel star could face is her traumatic history with men. When she got together with Pedro’s father, he was keeping secrets. He had two kids from a prior relationship. Then, she went on to have her children but was soon blindsided once again. “And one day he tells me, ‘I have gone back to the mother of my children.’ And from that moment, he left,” she shared. Then, he was never heard from again.
