Their charm and genuine portrayal of how they face challenges have captured the hearts of so many people following their story. The 7 Little Johnstons Family, Trent, Amber, and their five kids: Jonah, Anna, Elizabeth, Alex, and Emma openly shared their lives during the 13 seasons of filming. At any rate, the family provides entertainment and education to the public. So how much do they get paid?
Making A Living
According to Trent’s LinkedIn profile, he is a director of landscape management for Clayton State University. This was his old job, though. Now, Trent has been selling cars just like Jonah. Trent and Amber Johnston are living in rural Georgia. Given that they are a large family with a mix of biological and adopted members, they have many needs. Particularly since all have a form of dwarfism called achondroplasia. Naturally, having a family of seven people takes quite a bit of funds to maintain. Notably, being a reality TV star for TLC’s 7 Little Johnstons has its perks that also help meet these needs.
Trent Johnston’s TLC bio says, “Trent works as a grounds supervisor at a local college in his family’s hometown, Forsyth, Georgia, and is known at home and work at ‘Mr. Fix-It.’ He takes pride in renovating the family home and can make just about anything Amber or the kids dream up.” Amber Johnston also works as a computer lab teacher at an elementary school as her daytime job and goes to college full-time. Several of the kids also reportedly have jobs as well.

Fans speculate that the 7 Little Johnstons are in a similar income bracket as the Duggar Family. Sadly, the stars of 7 Little Johnstons haven’t yet given details about their income. The Johnston family shows a few assets they have. Undeniably, this seems to indicate they are living fairly comfortably at a minimum. Trent and Amber Johnston purchased a 3,660-square-foot home with four bedrooms and three bathrooms in Forsyth, Ga. for the family. Reportedly, they paid $486,000 to have this beautiful home. Additionally, they live in a luxurious house that has 10 acres of land and a pool.
In any case, the family net worth is thought to be between $1 million and $5 million. While the 7 Little Johnstons haven’t disclosed their pay, some estimates have circulated the internet. E!News reports that Duggars make approximately $25,000 to $40,000 for four or five days of work. That is roughly how long it takes to film a typical episode. Daily Mail reported that the Duggars received $18 million throughout their 21 seasons on TV. Daily Mail said Jill, the fourth eldest of the Duggars’ 19 kids, “the kids weren’t given a dime of it during their time in the show.” While the 7 Little Johnstons don’t have quite as many seasons yet, hopefully, the family is receiving ample pay to share their lives.
