1000-Lb Sisters fans can’t wait for another season of the TLC show but filming went on hiatus so now it resumed, that’s good news. Fans want to see Tammy Slaton shed all of her excess skin. Plus they want to see her find happiness with a man again. Then, some want to see Amy Halterman finally kick her husband Michael to the curb for good. TLC fans have a lot of demands.
1000-Lb Sisters Cast Expanded But It Gets Volatile
Initially, the TLC show focused on Amy Halterman and her sister Tammy Slaton who collectively weighed about the same as a car. In Season 1, Amy qualified for her gastric surgery and Tammy failed. After that, things became quite toxic between the sister and Tammy seemed unable to hide her jealousy and bitterness. As the show continued, fans started to meet other members of the family like siblings, Chris, Amanda, and Misty. As they injected more positives than negatives, fans hope for a spin-off for them.

1000-Lb Sisters fans heard about a lot of aggression with Michael Halterman. Increasingly, it seems that some ugly scenes go on behind closed doors. In fact, the news arrived that Amy called 911 when she and Michael clashed. Apparently, she claimed that his behavior endangered the kids. So, it wasn’t a huge shock when rumors arrived of a big family bust-up in Florida.
1000-Lb Sisters’ Fans Heard About A Vacation To Florida
There has been some talk that Tammy and Amy wanted more pay. Especially Tammy, who apparently paid for her rehab out of her own pocket. Apparently, they never really got top-notch pay from the show, and Tammy might only take home about $2 to 3K per episode. So, it seemed a bit of a surprise that the entire family went off to Florida for a vacation. Plenty of photos showed both the TV stars enjoying themselves, especially Tammy who could get around easier.
1000-Lb Sisters fans later heard that there was a possibility that TLC had paid for the trip to Florida. That came after the news arrived that Amy Halterman wasn’t happy with her pay, either. Unfortunately, if TLC felt that a trip to Florida might settle the family down and get them back on board, that failed. Rumors arrived that a major bust-up saw the family fighting it out physically. And, the crew, understandably felt a bit shattered. So, the news leaked that they refused to film and the show took a hiatus.

Filming Caleb Willingham’s Funeral
The Sun reported that the film crew for 1000-Lb Sisters was present at the funeral of Caleb Willingham. Apparently, it was held in Kentucky at the end of July and Tammy went all the way to Ohio to collect Caleb’s ashes. When the news arrived that the cameras were there, some people felt angry and accused the network of exploiting the family. At the same time, fans who hope for more about the sisters can at least rejoice because it seems that filing has resumed and the next season will hopefully come along in due time.
